A combined model reference adaptive control law for multirotor UAVs

چکیده

Model reference adaptive control (MRAC) offers the potential to adapt in real-time changes performance of small unmanned air vehicles. There are significant challenges with their use, however, primarily implementation and assurance long-term system stability. This paper presents flight test results for a combined model (CMRAC) law applied height loop multirotor. Key features include CMRAC baseline controller allowing in-flight switching between two; use an augmented state improve tracking that provides shorter transient phase, faster parameter convergence, closer desired response when compared standard MRAC. With current exponential growth interest vehicles, benefits using development significant, particularly new vehicles short testing phases cases where there configuration or prior rapid deployment.

LPV model reference control for fixed-wing UAVs ?

This paper proposes a linear parameter varying (LPV) model reference-based control for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which achieves agile and high performance tracking objectives in extended flight envelopes, e.g. when near stall or deep stall flight conditions are considered. Each of the considered control loops (yaw, pitch and airspeed) delivers an error model that can be reshap...

Analysis of Speed Control in DC Motor Drive Based on Model Reference Adaptive Control

This paper presents fuzzy and conventional performance of model reference adaptive control(MRAC) to control a DC drive. The aims of this work are achieving better match of motor speed with reference speed, decrease of noises under load changes and disturbances, and increase of system stability. The operation of nonadaptive control and the model reference of fuzzy and conventional adaptive contr...

Design of a Model Reference Adaptive Controller Using Modified MIT Rule for a Second Order System

Sometimes conventional feedback controllers may not perform well online because of the variation in process dynamics due to nonlinear actuators, changes in environmental conditions and variation in the character of the disturbances. To overcome the above problem, this paper deals with the designing of a controller for a second order system with Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) scheme usi...

Extremum Seeking for Model Reference Adaptive Control

Adaptive control with predictable parameter convergence has remained a challenge for several decades. In the special case of set point adaptation, extremum seeking permits predictable parameter convergence by design. This is because persistency of excitation requirements are met by the sinusoidal perturbation that is part of the basic control design. Here we present results of extremum seeking ...
